Meet Katy Hart
I am trained in narrative therapy which acknowledges that we are experts of our own lives, and the problem is the problem; the person is not the problem.
I will support you by offering a safe, confidential and non-judging space to work through problems that might be trying to get in the way of your well being.
I am a Professional Counsellor located in beautiful Gisborne, New Zealand and a Full Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).
Qualifications:
Master of Counselling degree
Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology
Certificate in Business Management
Certificate in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I’m originally from Germany, but have been living in New Zealand for about 10 years now, and I am proud to call Tūranga my home.
I bring over four years of social work experience supported by a background in outdoor education in Germany.
In my spare time you will most likely find me at the beach.

I am a fully registered Social Worker with over 20 years practice experience and offer professional supervision to Social Workers and Kaiāwhina.
I hold a BA (Psychology), Masters of Applied Social Work, a Certificate in Professional Supervision, and am a member of ANZASW. -
